"I was ready to place my order..."
I was ready to place my order, and then the shipping cost popped up and it threw me off. Like, I get that shipping isn’t free, but it felt a bit too high for what I was buying. The items seemed fine, I was already thinking about checking out, and then suddenly I’m rethinking the whole thing because the extra fee made the total feel less worth it.

I tried ordering flowers from ameliasflowerbox.com, and wow, what a little journey that turned into. The pages were loading slowly for me, and somehow finding a simple flower arrangement took way longer than it reasonably should have. Checkout wasn’t exactly smooth either, it felt clunky, and I wasn’t totally sure my order details had actually saved, which is always a fun guessing game. I’m sure the flowers might be lovely, but the website definitely made the whole process more stressful than necessary.
"Gift looked kind of messy"
I ordered this as a gift, but when it showed up it looked thrown together. The box was a little crumpled and the flowers weren’t arranged very nicely. it felt a bit awkward giving it to someone.

"Packaging was okay, but could be better"
The flowers showed up in good shape, so that was a relief. The box was a little crushed though, and the tape looked kind of messy. Anyway, it didn’t ruin the flowers, but the packaging could definitely be a bit nicer
"Probably not worth the price"
It feels a bit too expensive for what you get. I’d say it’s not really worth the money.

The flowers showed up on time, so I’ll give them that, but I had to do that thing where you tell yourself to be patient and not judge too quickly. After staring at them for a bit, though, they still just didn’t look like the pictures on the site.
A few petals were bent and kind of tired-looking, and the colours were way duller than I expected. The box was fine and nothing was broken, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the arrangement itself felt underwhelming.
For what it cost, I was expecting something fresher and fuller, especially if it’s meant to be a gift. I tried to be understanding, but it was disappointing overall, and I don’t think I’d order it again.

They did sort my issue out eventually, but it took longer than I expected. The replies felt a bit slow at times, haha, so it wasn’t the smoothest experience, but at least it got fixed in the end

"Refund took sorta longer than I expected"
I did get my refund in the end, but it sorta took longer than I thought it would. I had to follow up twice before it got sorted.
"Pretty flowers, but the price surprised me a bit"
I ordered flowers online while I was on my lunch break, so I was trying to get it done quickly, and overall the site was easy enough to use. The flowers themselves looked really nice, and the person I sent them to was happy with them. My only issue was that the final total changed once I got to checkout because of the extra fees. I get that fees are a thing, but I would’ve preferred to see the full cost earlier instead of finding out right at the end. Not a bad experience, just a little unclear on pricing.

"Not a lot of seasonal options"
I was expecting to see more seasonal flowers, but the selection felt limited this time and I just didn’t have as many choices as I thought I would, so it was a little disappointing.

They did finally replace it, but it took way too many back-and-forth messages to get there. By the end, I was just mentally drained and happy it was over.

"Pretty disappointing substitution"
Pretty disappointing, honestly. I ordered a specific bouquet and what showed up was a totally different mix, with no heads up or anything. I understand flowers can run out, but the replacement didn’t feel close to what I chose and came across as a cheaper option.

I ordered some flowers for my mum and, to be fair, they did look really when they arrived. Maybe I’m being a bit picky because I’d had a busy week and wanted everything to be perfect for her, but first impressions were definitely good.
Unfortunately, they started drooping by the next day, and most of them were done after about 3 days, even though we changed the water and trimmed the stems. Maybe we were just unlucky, but for the price I did expect them to last a bit longer. Bit disappointing, honestly.
"Tracking was all over the place"
I ordered flowers the tracking drove me nuts. It barely updated at all and just sat on the same status forever. Then out of nowhere it said delivered, but I checked the door and there was nothing there. I kept refreshing hoping for some clue, but it gave me basically no useful info. Super frustrating, especially when they were supposed to show up on a specific day.

"Support was really, really slow"
I had a question about my order support took forever, like forever, to get back to me. When they finally replied, it felt rushed and didn’t really help much. The flowers were okay, okay enough I guess, but the customer service definitely needs some work.

I was trying to order flowers for my sister, but not gonna lie, a lot of the nicer arrangements weren’t available. The site itself was simple enough to use, which I appreciated, but the selection felt really limited. I ended up choosing something that was okay, just not really what I wanted...

"Delivery Area Felt a Bit Too Limited"
Maybe it’s just me, but I found the delivery area a bit frustrating. I was trying to order flowers for my mum, and even though she doesn’t live that far out of town, they wouldn’t deliver to her address. The annoying part was that the site only told me late in the checkout process, so I’d already spent time picking everything out. Ended up having to order from another shop instead.

The flowers looked okay at first, but they started wilting way too fast. I’ve bought similar bouquets before that stayed fresh for several days, so this was a bit disappointing.

"Honestly, I wouldn’t buy it again"
I really wanted to like this, but it just ended up being disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high, but for the price, it didn’t feel worth it at all. I kept thinking it would grow on me, kind of like when you order a weird coffee flavor and hope the next sip is better, but nope. Overall, not something I’d recommend
